[SEOUL] The South Korean won fell sharply against the dollar early on Tuesday on broad risk-off sentiment among investors, sparked by a global oil price decline overnight.
The local currency fell as low as 1,158.5 per dollar, down 1.0 per cent from its previous close of 1,146.1.
