THE champagne bottles for the US-China trade deal have already popped on the US stock market. This week, however, the bulls are hoping the celebration does not prove premature.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed above 28,000 for the first time last Friday after the head of US President Donald Trump's council of economic advisers, Larry Kudlow, and Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross hinted that a deal with China had almost crossed the finishing line.
Both men however added that final details could still derail the agreement.
