'Strong leadership a constant amid change'

PM Lee urges party members to stay close to the people at event marking PAP's 60th anniversary

    PRIME Minister Lee Hsien Loong on Friday stressed the need for Singapore to have strong leaders at the helm, with the ruling People's Action Party (PAP) duty-bound to provide this leadership for the country.

    Speaking at an event to mark the party's 60th anniversary, Mr Lee, the PAP's secretary-general, said that Singapore must look ahead to its future, where it faces a different path.
