[TAIPEI] Taiwan's central bank governor said on Thursday the island has no deflation issues and prices will be positive this year. Governor Perng Fai-nan made the comments in answer to questions from lawmakers.

The central bank has said that lower oil prices will keep inflation very mild.

Taiwan's consumer price index, its main inflation gauge, fell for a second month in a row in February, but the year-on-year decline narrowed compared with January.
