WELL-KNOWN corporate litigator Thio Shen Yi has been elected president of the Law Society of Singapore (Lawsoc), the body representing all lawyers here, replacing incumbent Lok Vi Ming, who steps down at the end of this year.
Mr Thio, a Senior Counsel and joint managing director of TSMP Law Corporation, comes to the post from his current position as vice-president.
