THE National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School has snagged top economist Andrew Rose as its incoming dean, a post that he will take on next year.

Prof Rose - who has collaborated with the likes of former US Federal Reserve chief Janet Yellen, Nobel Laureate George Akerlof and Harvard macroeconomics expert Jeffrey Frankel - will succeed current dean Bernard Yeung on June 1, 2019. Before that, he will join NUS as Dean Designate on March 1.
