Two seniors die from Covid-19 complications; foreign workers in dorms make up 764 of 799 new cases
[SINGAPORE] Two patients have died from complications from Covid-19 infection on Monday (April 27), said the Ministry of Health (MOH) in an evening update.
They were an 82-year-old Singaporean man who was confirmed to have the virus infection on April 8, and a 81-year-old Singaporean man who was confirmed to have the virus infection on April 20.
Meanwhile, foreign workers living in dormitories made up 764 of the new 799 coronavirus cases.
Foreign workers not living in dorms made up 17 of the new cases.
There were also 18 new cases in the community, including 14 Singaporeans and permanent residents, as well as 4 work pass holders.
There were no imported cases reported.

MOH also announced seven new coronavirus clusters, including welfare home Acacia Home in Admiralty.
Singapore's largest active cluster remains S11 Dormitory in Punggol, which has confirmed 2,286 cases.
With Monday's figures, the total number of Covid-19 cases in Singapore stands at 14,423.
