BRITAIN and India have agreed to a £1 billion (S$1.85 billion) bilateral trade and investment deal ahead of an expected official trade accord later this year.
In a virtual meeting on Tuesday, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Indian leader Narendra Modi agreed on a new "enhanced trade partnership, which paves the way for a future bilateral free trade agreement (FTA)".
