UK cautiously eases lockdowns, slowly returns to normal

THE British government is cautiously relaxing lockdowns to help normalise living and to give the battered economy a much needed boost.

Already, there are some signs of revival with the pound and the stock market well up from their 2020 lows, a rise in new car registrations, and various surveys showing that medium and larger companies intend to renew investment.
