LONDON and Brussels clashed on Monday over future residency rights for millions of Europeans as Britain outlined post-Brexit proposals that included a special new status for European Union (EU) immigrants.

Prime Minister Theresa May fleshed out what she called a "fair and serious" offer to guarantee the rights of EU migrants in Britain once it has left the EU.
