UK, EU leaders agree to Sunday deadline for Brexit decision

For a trade deal to happen, British PM Johnson will have to back down and accept a compromise; the EU's red lines are unchanged

    THERE is still a glimmer of hope that the European Union (EU) and the United Kingdom can strike a trade deal ahead of the final deadline on Sunday to do so.

    For that to happen, however, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson will have to back down and agree to a compromise. The EU's red lines, meanwhile, are unchanged.
