BRITISH Prime Minister Boris Johnson is dealing with a risky political gamble as he has gone against his earlier election promises and raised the country's tax burden to the highest levels in 70 years.
As of press time on Wednesday night, lawmakers were still debating whether to accept the biggest personal tax rise in two decades and a jump in corporate national insurance contributions (NIC).
