CONSUMERS in the UK, US and many other major economies around the world are beginning to stock up ahead of Christmas amid fears of a shortage of goods and price increases.
Shoppers in the UK increased their spending in September, although this was at the slowest pace since the start of the year, with many expressing worries over a fuel shortage, showed the findings of a new survey released on Tuesday.
