THE labour market showed slight signs of slowing down in the second quarter of the year, after a sustained improvement since June last year, preliminary estimates released on Friday by the Manpower Ministry (MOM) showed.
Unemployment figures edged up, even as total employment grew - a result of more people being lured by a recovering economy to enter the labour force and look for work.
