US leading indicator rises modestly in February

[WASHINGTON] A gauge of future US economic activity rose slightly in February, consistent with a moderation in the pace of growth in the first quarter.
The Conference Board said on Thursday that its Leading Economic Index increased 0.2 per cent after a similar gain in January.
