Vaccination open to ages 45-59; supplies remain tight
Singapore
SINGAPORE is extending its vaccination programme to younger age groups with immediate effect, even as the authorities remain concerned about the continuity of vaccine supplies stemming from an impending export curb in the European Union (EU), Health Minister Gan Kim Yong said on Wednesday.
"That is why we are encouraging Singaporeans to get vaccinated as soon as possible, but so far, we have not seen significant disruption," Mr Gan, who is also co-chair of Singapore's Covid-19 task force, told reporters during a virtual briefing.
