Yaacob outlines roles of new IMDA, GTO agencies

    THE restructuring of the Infocomm Development Authority (IDA) and Media Development Authority (MDA) into two brand new entities will enable Singapore to seize the opportunities presented by the rapid changes in technology.

    Communications and Information Minister Yaacob Ibrahim made the point in Parliament on Tuesday, the second day of the week-long debate on the President's Address.
