Biolidics’ private placement at S$0.0121 apiece to raise one-eighth of market cap

MEDTECH company Biolidics entered a subscription agreement with Chinese citizen Zhou Chao to issue and allot 83 million new shares at S$0.0121 per share on Friday (Dec 22).

Biolidics, which produces and distributes Covid-19 test kits, has proposed issuing 98.5 million new ordinary shares at S$0.0119 apiece to raise S$1.2 million.

CLEARBRIDGE Health is considering Biolidics’ proposal to repay its debt, which amounts to some S$2.1 million, by the extended deadline of Dec 23, 2023.

The additional time will allow for a smooth handover of duties, says Biolidics, which previously developed Covid-19 PCR tests (pictured).
