Remote work forces rethink on flexi-work penalty

THE silver lining with Covid-19 is that women in the legal industry could finally be acknowledged for the work they do from home, with flexible work arrangements traditionally proving to hurt female lawyers.

The latest Law Society study on gender diversity in the legal profession showed that in pre-Covid times, flexible work arrangements could be counter-productive.
