BBC drops 'Top Gear' host Clarkson

THE BBC said on Wednesday it would not renew the contract of Jeremy Clarkson, the lead presenter of its popular motoring programme Top Gear who was suspended after a "fracas" with a producer.
The BBC said earlier Mr Clarkson was suspended after a "fracas", reported to be a verbal and physical assault on show producer Oisin Tymon after the star failed to receive a hot meal after a day's filming.
