Business group raises funds for MINDS

THE UAE Singapore Business Council (UAESBC) celebrated its first anniversary with a charity gala dinner, at which a total of S$35,000 was raised for the Movement for the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore (MINDS).

The sum comprised donations of S$25,000 and S$10,000 raised through a silent auction.

The gala took place on Aug 23 at the Grand Ballroom of the Intercontinental Hotel.

The UAESBC was set up in March 2018 to promote, support and enhance the development of commerce and business initiatives between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Singapore. The UAE is Singapore largest trading and investment partner in the Middle East.
