TWO hot-button issues are expected to dominate the Singapore Island Country Club's annual general meeting on Friday. And they involve two candidates standing for tonight's election on either side of team rivalry at the prestigious club's AGM.
One revolves around contest eligibility, sparked by the suspension of one long-time member.
And the other is about a member who took a court injunction and succeeded in staying his disciplinary hearing so that he can stand for election.
The first concerns veteran member Goh Ho Wee, who is, in fact, standing for club president. The other contestant is former vice-president and captain Andrew Low.
