STAFF members from DBS - an official sponsor of the ongoing Asean Para Games (APG) - were busy on Sunday at Marina Bay as they brought beneficiaries from Society Staples to experience sailing on board the bank's new SM40 sailboats.
Society Staples is a social enterprise that aims to connect the disabled with the wider community through fitness.
DBS is doing its part to raise awareness of the APG, with about 80 staff members volunteering to host some 200 guests from organisations such as the Society for the Physically Disabled and the Movement for the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore to catch some of the sporting action.
