Learning about cats through play

A session at Playground Ragdolls will be useful for those who want to know more about cats in general and also those who might have a phobia of these felines

FOR those of you who regularly follow this column (bless you!), you'll know that Cult Status focuses monthly on the best products, services and experiences our writers come across - with the only criterion being that these need to have been personally used and loved by us.

And, while we've featured many products and mentioned some service offerings, we have only once before talked about an experience that makes our grade - and that was a Netflix offering we covered in March 2017.

So, it's perhaps long overdue that we look at another experience worth sharing.

This month's column is about a slightly unusual educational experience: the "play sessions" hosted by local cattery, Playground Ragdolls.

Playground Ragdolls (www.playgroundragdolls.com) is the brainchild of Chang and Jing, who set up the cattery in 2014; every alternate Sunday, the pair host "play sessions" with their cats (typically, Ragdolls), at their gallery in Jalan Jurong Kechil…
