NTUC suggests running upcoming public golf course jointly with SICC

THE labour movement has asked the Singapore Island Country Club (SICC) to help run the Sime Public Golf Course - an unexpected move that seems to have caused a stir among some members at the elite club.
SICC members got wind of the development last month, in a message from their president Andrew Low, which announced that the labour movement had on Jan 8 informed the club that it was looking for a "collaborative approach" to managing the Sime Public Golf Course.
