ELECTRIC cars are the future, let's all assume that. But if you want one that's fun and exciting to drive today, your choices are fairly limited to Tesla, and, erm, not much else. Never mind that the Silicon Valley company makes cars more for tech geeks than driving purists.

All that looks set to change, however. Come August next year you can get your hands on the all-new, all-singing and all-dancing Porsche Taycan.

The Taycan is the first full-fledged electric vehicle (EV) from a proper sports car company, and therefore puts driving performance and pleasure at the forefront of anything else.
