For Anytime Fitness Singapore's director Andrea Bell, maintaining consistency across its gyms globally is key
THE last few years have seen the growth in Singaporeans taking an interest of their fitness needs, news that isn't surprising but encouraging for Andrea Bell, Anytime Fitness Singapore's director.
Speaking to The Business Times, Mrs Bell notes: "It's great because it means more people are starting to understand the importance of fitness in their lifestyle."
Founded in the US in 2002, Anytime Fitness has over 4,000 gyms worldwide in over 30 markets. Since announcing its arrival in Singapore in 2013, it has also grown its presence here, opening its 50th outlet at E!Hub@Downtown East in Pasir Ris last Saturday. Mrs Bell, who is also one of the first Anytime Fitness franchisees in Singapore, adds: "We have a huge space to grow in and we still need to get more to the gym or to have a fit lifestyle."
