Self-taught deaf pianist performs at Sunburst Concert
The inaugural concert will raise funds for people with muscular dystrophy and for financially- disadvantaged arts students

SELF-TAUGHT pianist Ron Tan Zi Kai is "80 per cent deaf". He learned to play the instrument by watching others play and experimenting on his own.
Eventually he mastered the piano to an extent he could perform in pubs, hotels and public concerts.
