CHILDREN living with haemophilia had a chance to play "scientists" for a day at the Woodlands manufacturing plant of biotechnology company Shire, in an event marking the 28th World Haemophilia Day on Monday.
The plant, which is Shire's first biologics manufacturing unit in Asia, is a state-of-the-art multi-suite production facility that manufactures blood clotting factors used in the treatment of haemophilia.
