Arts programme for pre-schoolers
LOW-INCOME families with pre-school children living in the west will now have access to a fully sponsored programme to introduce the young ones to the arts. The programme, run at The Playhouse in Rochester Park, is a partnership between its parent company Wong San's Group, and arts and cultural organisation The Rice Company. Rice will run the programme with full funding from The Business Times Budding Artist Fund (BT BAF). Wong San's Group will donate one per cent of the proceeds from its sale of its kids' meals at The Playhouse to BT BAF over a period of two years.
