Casio loans graphing calculators
STUDENTS from low-income families, whose combined household incomes are under S$2,500, will now be able to borrow a S$180 Casio graphing calculator during their years in school. Casio Singapore managing director Shunichi Watanabe said: "Casio strongly believes that all students, regardless of financial background, should have access to the necessary tools that will help in their academic development.
"The 'Casio Cares' Initiative will give each of such students access to a powerful graphing calculator to help them in efficient calculations of regressions, probability functions, graphing functions and much more."
