The point of slow return: To Genting and back on a single tank of fuel, in an Audi A4
BT was challenged to drive an Audi A4 to Genting Highlands and back on a single tank of petrol. With fuelish pride at stake, how could we say no?
Genting Highlands
IF THE rich keep getting richer, maybe it's because they know what to do with money. Speaking as someone who barely has enough lettuce in his wallet to sustain a caterpillar, I don't have a clue about that, but I can brag about something similar: I know what to do with a fuel-efficient car.
I once drove all the way to the Thai border and back in a Volkswagen Passat 1.8 TSI on a single tank of fuel. Granted, that car could schlep 70 litres of petrol around, but even then, I wrung 1,665.1km out of it, maybe two times the distance the average Joe might have managed. That's a bit like downing a mug of beer and feeling twice as tipsy as the next guy, only less impressive, even if you're cheap.
