Time for European golfers to join International team in Presidents Cup
IT was a total mismatch on Sunday in New Jersey, and there was nothing surprising about it at all.
The biennial Presidents Cup - one of the most prestigious golf tournaments in the men's game - was dominated yet again by the team from the United States. The Americans have won all but one edition since the competition began back in 1994.
After the US' victory over the International team, the Americans have won the event for the 10th time in 12 outings, with one ending in a draw (2003 in South Africa). The Internationals can still only claim one win to their name, in Melbourne in 1998.
