Tokyo to shut world's largest fish market - for now

No time frame has been given; city governor says the move would take place after discussions

The Tsukiji fish market is one of the top tourist destinations in Tokyo, attracting as many as 42,000 visitors daily. About 1,628 tonnes of seafood pass through it on a typical day. Ms Koike says the current market would be redeveloped over the next five years.
