UBS Singapore takes flight with sustainable installation
Singapore
UBS Singapore, which recently moved into its new office at the redeveloped Park Mall building, has launched an immersive sustainable installation at the Grade A office building located at 9 Penang Road.
The installation, titled Taking Flight, commemorates UBS's 50th anniversary in Singapore in 2020, and its ongoing commitment to sustainability and community engagement.
The installation, which features 3,600 butterflies and birds made from repurposed bottles, was designed in collaboration with the art studio Acceptable Things.
These sculptural pieces were crafted in collaboration with UBS staff, Park Mall Pte Ltd, and community partners including the seniors from Care Corner Senior Services, and students from the BCA Academy.
The bank also hopes the installation can make it into the Singapore Book of Records, for the "Largest Display of Butterflies Made from Recycled Plastic Bottles".

"UBS Singapore will match 10 per cent of the total amount raised and continue to support and collaborate with our local community partners to make a significant and lasting impact to local communities," she said.
