Singapore
SINGAPORE has a five-year deal to host the annual BNP Paribas Women's Tennis Association (WTA) Finals until 2018, but WTA president Micky Lawler hopes the Republic can continue to be home to the prestigious season-ending tournament even beyond that.
Singapore's first staging of the event last year, featuring the top eight women's singles players and doubles teams, was widely regarded as a huge success, with it setting record highs for attendance, TV viewing and online audiences.
