120 talents picked for ChildAid concert
Singapore
OVER 120 talented children aged six to 19 have been selected to perform at the 15th ChildAid concert organised by two Singapore Press Holdings newspapers, The Business Times and The Straits Times. The popular charity concert raises funds for The Business Times Budding Artists Fund (BTBAF) and The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund (STSPMF).
The children will undergo a performance bootcamp at the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre over the next few days, followed by more focused training sessions conducted by Dick Lee Asia, the entertainment company headed by well-known musician Dick Lee. These will culminate in the two-night ChildAid concert at the grand Esplanade Theatre on Nov 20 and 21, 2019, with President Halimah Yacob as guest of honour.
