IN an unprecedented tie for Singapore's top theatre award, Wild Rice's Monkey Goes West and Nine Years Theatre's Art were both named Production of the Year at the M1-The Straits Times Life! Theatre Awards 2015.
The 15th edition of the awards, which is the country's only accolade honouring stage work, was hosted at the Esplanade Recital Studio on Monday by singer-actress Pam Oei and graced by Chan Heng Chee, chairman of the National Arts Council.
