ON THE evening of June 1, when many are winding down and about to call it a night, some 25,000 people will be decked out in their running gear at the F1 Pit Building, ready to pound the streets and sweat it out.
That's the day of this year's Osim Sundown Marathon, which organisers bill as "Asia's biggest night run". There are various distances to pick from - 5km, 10km, the 21.1km half-marathon, and the 42.195km full marathon.
The annual event has grown over the years since its debut back in 2008 when it was held at Changi Beach Park with just 6,000 participants.
