6,800 take part in OCBC Cycle 2015
Singapore
SOME 6,800 cyclists took part in two community rides on the final day of the OCBC Cycle 2015 on Sunday. The two non-competitive mass participation categories - The Sportive Ride (42km) and The Straits Times Ride (23km) - both started at the Singapore Sports Hub and ended inside the National Stadium.
Minister for Culture, Community and Youth Lawrence Wong flagged off participants of The Sportive Ride. The 6,800-strong combined participation for the two community cycling categories makes it Singapore's biggest cycling festival.
