79 set for Warren Amateur Open

GOING by the list of its previous winners, the Warren Amateur Open is a platform from which many champions have launched their stellar golf careers.

Koh Dengshan and Jonathan Woo are now Singaporean professionals, while Koh Sock Hwee is a rookie female professional who played against the men at the recent Singapore Professional Golfers Association (SPGA) pro event, also at Warren.

The icing on the cake was provided by the pair of Gregory Foo and Marc Ong as they led Singapore to a historic South-east Asian (SEA) Games team gold medal in Kuala Lumpur in September.
