A boring melodrama that's a right royal mess

GRACE Kelly, the blond beauty who won an Oscar and then topped it by winning a bona fide prince, was the epitome of style, glamour and, yes, grace - whose greatest role turned out to be a real-life one as Her Serene Highness in the Principality of Monaco.

Now that a new movie about her has been released, it was perhaps asking too much for art to imitate life.

Instead, Grace of Monaco is a dull, uninspired melodrama that is - to put it kindly - a right royal mess and about as entertaining as a party political broadcast.
