A helping hand needed for Singapore's fringe golf professionals

THE Singapore flag was among 25 fluttering over the main clubhouse of the Royal Greens Golf and Country at the Saudi International tournament in Riyadh last week.

This was due to the presence of Koh Dengshan, who received a last-minute invitation to the US$5 million event because he was the best local finisher at both the Singapore International and the SMBC Singapore Open in January.
