    TEDDY Sheringham was just three months old when England defeated Germany to win its first (and, to date, only) Fifa World Cup on home soil in July 1966.

    Half-a-century later, the former Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur striker captained the England Masters to a convincing victory over the Germans at the National Stadium in Kallang.
