AS ARTIFICIAL intelligence (AI) continues to permeate more aspects of mainstream life and work, what are some of the more creative ways that companies are harnessing it?

Already, hundreds of companies are using the technology to power the lifestyle sector, from content creation to customer service. In Friday’s BT Lifestyle, we talk to several of them about the work they do. They include Idolive (which creates AI avatars of Singapore celebrities such as Li Nanxing and Gurmit Singh so that they can endorse goods at a fraction of the fees they usually charge), Trakomatic (which tracks visitor movements at tourist attractions), Giant Cookie (which uses AI to rapidly produce concepts for advertising, marketing and events for its clients) and others.

In Design, penthouse living takes on a different meaning in a new project that downplays the luxury aspect and spotlights the liveability element. In Watches, have a look at some of the latest models being launched. And in Dining, we check out Wild Blaze, a new semi-casual eatery that specialises in Spanish beef and French bistro classics. And for your next wine dinner, make a splash with Brunello di Montalcino, one of the top wines of Tuscany. Read more about it in our wine column.

For all this and more, don’t miss Friday’s issue of BT.
