Trust theatre company W!ld Rice to put a new cheeky spin on a old fable. The Chinese legend of the White and Green Snake is given a makeover by playwright Alfian Sa'at and director Pam Oei.
Titled Mama White Snake, the two magical snakes are played by none other than Ivan Heng and Glen Goei, two of the most recognisable faces in Singapore theatre. For Goei, it will be his first theatre role in 30 years.
Expect plenty of high camp, Singlish jokes and catchy songs composed by the excellent Elaine Chan.
