Animal Art
Gillie and Marc Schattner are Australian contemporary artists with a new exhibition at the Ode to Art Gallery at Raffles City. Life, Love and Adventure Together features a new series of 20 paintings as well as 15 animal sculptures inspired by various endangered species. For instance, The Flying Rhino hanging precariously on a thin rope symbolises their situation due to illegal horn trading, while The Climbing Zebra satirises the stunts that some animals have to perform for entertainment. Admission is free.
From Feb 23 to March 16.
