Another round of tasteless humour
Dylan Tan
THERE are a few things in life nobody quite expected: Leicester City being crowned as English football champions, Donald Trump as the last US Republican presidential candidate standing, and the North-South line running smoothly for 100 days before promptly breaking down again.
To that list, we can now add Bad Neighbours 2. Like the recent The Huntsman: Winter's War, it's a sequel nobody asked for but which went into production anyway because the first film was a surprise hit at the box office.
As patchy as things get, fans of the stoner comedies (and Seth Rogen - king of the genre) as well as the 2014 original may still embrace this since it's essentially more of the same bawdy and tasteless humour. Nothing is off-limits here so expect plenty of ageist, racist, sexist and homophobic jokes to laugh uncomfortably at.
