Art makes a roaring return
With 130 shows to see during Singapore Art Week, here's our pick of the best.
ART goes from famine to feast this January with Singapore Art Week (SAW). Despite on-going challenges posed by the pandemic, there will be 130 art shows spread across the island featuring works by 600 artists from around the world.
Many of the international artists will not be travelling to Singapore, but their art will nevertheless find their way onto the island physically or virtually.
The event, co-organised by National Arts Council (NAC) and Singapore Tourism Board, celebrates its 10th year in 2022. So, necessary contingency plans have been put in place to make sure no Covid-related dampener will prevent art from flourishing from Jan 14 to 23.
