Art pays tribute to frontline workers

THIRTEEN-YEAR-OLD Elodie Guillet, who is studying at the International French School in Singapore, won the top award in the inaugural nationwide 13-19 Art Prize organised by the non-profit TRCL in support of The Business Times Budding Artists Fund.

The digital artwork titled Our True Heroes was created as a tribute to "frontline workers who risk their lives every day to care for those who are infected by the virus," says Guillet. "Masks and hand sanitisers have become part of our daily lives. So the image includes a woman hanging her masks alongside her laundry as an everyday activity."
